ADEPOXYGUP® is an additive masterbatch based on few-layer graphene GUP®, specifically designed to provide superior mechanical properties to epoxy resins for use in very demanding reinforced composites. It is suitable for all processes, prepregs, filament winding, pultrusion, infusion, or 3D printing, with easy integration and flexibility in the design of multifunctional materials.

The hardener is added according to the conventional processing conditions in proportion, depending on the final epoxy equivalent weight (EEW) of the formulation. The amount of hardener is reduced in proportion to the new epoxy equivalent of the resin blend.

GUP®-based additive masterbatch for glass fiber reinforced, radical curing systems based on unsaturated vinyl ester and polyester resins.

ADESTERGUP® GF is added to the neat resin to be processed shortly before curing. The product should be stirred well before introducing it into any formulation. First, add the required amount of ADESTERGUP® GF to the neat resin with a continuous and vigorous mixing till to obtain a final homogeneous mixture. After being added, the resin system must be processed within 24 hours. The length of time varies depending on the resin type and additive quantity. We suggest adding 1.5 – 3 wt% of ADESTERGUP® GF based on the total formulation to achieve significant mechanical improvements. The compatibility between ADESTERGUP® GF and all other formulation components should be tested separately before starting formulation development.
