ADEPOXYGUP® is an additive masterbatch based on GUP® few layers graphene, specifically designed to provide superior mechanical properties to epoxy resins for the use in very demanding reinforced composites. It is suitable for all processes, prepregs, filament winding, pultrusion, infusion or 3D printing with easy integration and flexibility in design of multifunctional materials. We provide three grades:
- ADEPOXYGUP BPA for bisphenol type A resin
- ADEPOXYGUP BPF for bisphenol type F resin
- ADEPOXYGUP EN for epoxidized novolac.

PROCESSING GUIDELINES & ADDITION RATE
ADEPOXYGUP® is added to the neat resin to be processed. The product should be stirred well before start introducing it into any formulation, eventually increasing the temperature between 50 and 55 °C to reduce its viscosity. First add the required amount of ADEPOXYGUP® to the neat resin with a continuous and vigorous mixing till to obtain a final homogeneous mixture. The hardener is added according the conventional processing conditions in a proportion depending on the final epoxy equivalent weight (EEW) of the formulation. The amount of hardener is reduced in proportion to the new epoxy equivalent of the resin blend. We suggest to add 7 – 9 wt% of ADEPOXYGUP® in the neat epoxy resin to achieve significant improvements in the final formulation. The compatibility between ADEPOXYGUP® and all other formulation components should be tested separately before starting formulation development.
